Freightliner Chassis

Does the FL chassis for the London Aire have the AUX airline for the toad braking system like the Spartan chassis?

My 2015 does. Can't imagine they would take that feature away.

I believe "Safe Haul" is only available factory installed on the Spartan chassis. You can certainly install the SMI Air Force One unit on the Freightliner chassis, however. The coach side of AF1 is virtually identical in function to Safe Haul, which we have on our 2018 MADP...and love.

Hmmmm. If the 2015 LADP has the factory-installed "Safe Haul," then I may be incorrect. Are you sure it is not the AF1 unit that was installed by the dealer, perhaps?

On which chassis? Spartan and Freightliner, or just Spartan?

Oh Boy!!! Now that I ponder a little, when I bought this coach new in 2015 I already had my Buick with AF1 installed. As part of the deal I had Northtrail install air hookup on coach prior to me taking delivery. I opened mouth w/o engaging brain first. Sorry.

Safe Haul is only on the Spartan chassis only. That is only one of the advantages of the Spartan chassis. Better fan drive, wiring, frame/cross members, warranty and service centers are some others. We have our 3rd Newmar a 18 London Aire which really is a dream machine.

That was my understanding too, Tom. I just wasn't sure if something had changed in 2019 that I wasn't aware of.
