All,
I have a 2007 DSDP 4307.
When I use the pressurized city water connection to fill the fresh water tank, my water pump starts running. In other words, when I rotate the diverter lever counter clockwise to route the city water to the storage tank, the pump comes on. When I rotate it clockwise to divert it back to the city water system, the pump goes off.
Likewise, when I open the low point cold water drain, just to drain the tank, the pump comes on.
Goofy, right?
Also, the water pump switch in the wet bay does nothing. So, if I wanted to add water via siphoning from a fresh water source, I don't think the pump would come on.
Any experience/suggestions?

If any one of the water pump switches is on, the water pump should work. I have 3 switches, the bay, kitchen sink and bathroom wall.
Sorry, so that's the only info I can add.

As a policy we keep the two in the coach off. This allows the water compartment switch to be the master. You should shut off the pump when you are not running off the tank. This includes filling, draining, and city water. If not, you are wearing out the pump sooner.

Yep, I called the dealer (Independence RV) and they walked me through it. The DS 4307 has four switches: one in each bathroom, one in the tilt out drawer below the kitchen sink, and one in the wet bay. If any one of them is on, the pump will run when filling, draining, etc.
Now, when I want to sanitize the system, I guess I'll find out if the wet bay switch turns the pump on when the line is in the bleach bucket and the valves are open/closed.
Thanks for the quick reply.

You can modify your swiches so any one will turn the pump on/off no matter what position the other switches were left in(can't believe Newmar does not make this standard). See below under Intellitec manual switch w/light.

I believe some new parts need to be installed to convert to the Monoplex arrangement.
I ordered it as a special on my rig and I agree that it should be standard.

And you need to change out your on/off switches to momentary switches also available from Intellitec!
