Front auto shade stops half way

We are the new owners of s 2017 Baystar 3401 and we love it. Unfortunately the former owner is deceased and we have had to learn all the features by book and You Tube. I think we got it mastered except for the motorized from blackout shade. When the shade switch is pushed for closing, it only goes halfway. But sometimes I can get it down all the way. Our house batteries are fully charged and it doesn’t matter if we are hooked up to 50amp shore power. It will go up all the way. I think it mist have something to do with limit adjustment. Is this something others have experienced? The coach is like new with only 6k miles. Click image for larger version

There are 2 push button switches connected to wires in the upper left hand corner of the front cabinets.
I don't remember the sequence to program them for the travel of the shades, but they control the distance up and down for both shades.

Check out the MCD website RV Roller Shades | MCD Innovations and you should be able to get the correct instructions.

Hope this helps,

Oops, forgot to add, that if the ignition is "on" it will limit the travel of the block out shade

Happened with my '17 CS. Tech told me to call customer service. Newmar said the shade needed to be reprogrammed and they sent me a kit, no cost. My shade started working properly again so I didn't reprogram it. Call them.

The front shade will go down as far as your picture shows if your engine is running. I call it a dead zone because once you turn the ignition off you can not lower the shade the rest of the way. You need to raise the shade a few inches then you can lower it the rest of the way. If this does not work, call Newmar customer service and they will send instructions on how to reset your shade. There are reset buttons on the upper left of your shade.

Thank you all for your help. I have tried your suggestions but still having problems. I called Newmar Customer Service and for $17 they are sending me a recalibration kit to reset the limits. They were also very helpful.
