Front Door Sprung
The front door to our 2005 DSDP 4320 is Sprung. The top closes properly and the bottom sticks out some. We are afraid to sping it back as it might break the glass. It was that way when we purchased it, so don't know how it happened. Any suggestions?

Maybe it's not the door. Maybe the jamb isn't installed correctly. Maybe the coach has shifted somehow on the chassis. I can tell you this. Fit and finish is not job one in RV assembly plants. Good luck!!

Just gave this link to someone else if you need a new door maybe it will help.
I'D try to spring it back by loosening the frame.

Do you have wind noise when driving? My front door could also fit better...but like the technician said I can fix it but it might cause the wind noise. I left it alone.

I guess we are lucky as we don't have any wind noise. It just looks crummy

Mine was the same way when I purchased the coach. I took a block, placed it at the top of the door, and closed the door against the block. Then gently pushed on the bottom of the door. I needed to do this several times, but my door now has a nice line all the way down, & no air leaks.

If you look close, the door gasket is cut out for the screen door hinges. I bought some 3/4 x 3/4 foam insulation at Lowes and put it on the front door Jam from the bottom to the top and shut the door. No wind noise anymore.

My 2005 DSDP had the same problem when I bought it new. The dealer didn't want to touch it and suggested I take it back to Newmar. I did a few months later and the technician removed the window and door and put the door in Newmar's "door straightening machine." He described it as some 2" x 4"'s with carpet wrapped around them to prevent scratching the paint. He told me he twisted the door until it was straight, then installed it back on the motorhome and re-installed the door.
