If you have the face of box removed the two blocks would have screws or staples maybe holding in place.
Some TV's had metal plates fastened to bottom of TV and plate screwed into floor of box.
The screws were on side of plate all most hidden from view.

On our 2002 DSDP we had two screws coming in from the bottom of the box into the frame and two at the top that were hard to see into the roof panel and frame. After that, the TV was held by two brackets into the roof panel that were screwed into the top of the TV. Not sure if they used the same setup on the gas units though.

I got it out,was stuck on wooden blocks, had to rock TV back and forth from the rear of TV.The back would not move much because of a wood strip across back of TV.

There were extensive discussions with pictures on this topic a couple of years ago. Search it our. It may take a while because different year models used different tricks.

I have a 1999 DS and I had to take out extra long screws from the cabinets either side of the TV box. I then had to remove the molding and was able to remove more screws.

It was a challenge!
