Front TV Upgrade
I want to remove my front TV. My plan is to have a new cabinet built to fit behind the passenger's seat and have the TV on a lift that raises it out of the cabinet in front of the window when in use. Instead of rerouting wires, I plan to use wireless HDMI. Has anyone else moved a front TV to this position/used wireless HDMI?

Mike: It would be nice to be to watch TV at eye level for a change. I have a friend that did his and incorporated an electric fireplace at the same time. Sorry I can't help with the wireless HDMI question, but I thought of giving you a thums up. Good luck with the project. Please keep us informed. It might encouraged some of us to do the same thing.

I am not a techno geek but watching this video, I get the impression there are limitations to this technology at this point in time or am I missing something?

Thanks everyone for the input. Dennis, your install is just about what I had in mind, converting the overcab cabinets included. I will probably move the AV equipment there. I am planning a smaller TV cabinet, probably just deep enough for the TV. I was hoping for a 40" TV, but not sure how much height is required for the lift mechanism. Still not sure if I will go with the wireless or not.

Mike,
Height was an issue for sure. We had to go with a Nexus 21, Model L-23 (which was a little more pricey than others) in order to compensate for the height problem. Works real good though.

Dennis, thanks for the info. It looks like I have room for the L-27, so will probably go with that and a 40" TV. I am working on a cabinet design now. Does your's opperate on the Inverter?
