Full wall slide creeping open when in storage
We recently purchased a 2017 Dutch Star 4369 with a full wall slide. When in storage the slide creeps out about 3 inches. I received a 'fix' from Newmar who got it from HWH. The 'fix' is to extend and retract the slide 3 times and hold the button for 10 to 15 seconds at the end of each opening and retraction. This was confirmed by my local dealer. However, it is still creeping.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what needs to be done.

I would do as they say and disconnect the power to motor which is the pump for hydraulic operation.
Here is the emergency slide information spec look into the trouble link for your problem.
Look just below the highlighted yellowline ---- " Creeping"
Hope it helps.

Our 2016 DS did that and HWH sent us the two valve solenoid on the end of cylinder in the basement. They said one was bad but go on and replace both. It has not done it since.

I have the same issue, though it does it in transit too which is especially unnerving.

tjZO6 do not see any TSB as yet for the valves replacement but did see this one for HWH Slide for a 2016 coach you may want to check out.
You have six 2017 TSB's that you can find, follow these directions

Seems like this might be happening with ours also. Will have Newmar look at it while in Tampa in January.

Yup, Newmar has a remote tech looking at this, and the rest of my 'list' this week. We're still on the road (well, I'm at home for work right now, I fly back in for fun this weekend) so it won't be able to go to a real Newmar facility until March or so.

To the OP . . . do you have slide locks? Does the new HWH design have slide locks as an option?

We do not have manual locks on any of the slides in our 2017 DSDP4018
