His is a bit of a "Newbie" question so here goes. Have a 2011 Ventana 4375 that has been professionally winterized and is currently in indoor storage. I have read that I should be able to run the furnace even after winterization, yet cannot seem to get it to start. I did at one point run out of propane, after having it refilled is there anything else that I need to do? Have started the burners on the cooktop so I know that propane is flowing, any suggestions?

First question: What kind of furnace do you have?

From Newmar's home page it looks like the 43-footer comes with a hydronic furnace. If it works like ours, be sure the battery shut off switch is on (you'll know it's on if the thermostat is lighted), set the wall thermostat to 'furnace' and set the temp. It may take a minute or so for it to fire up but that should do it. Think I remembered all the steps. If not, someone chime in.
Oh, yeah, we have a summer/winter switch outside in the heater bay that we have to turn to the winter position to get the antifreeze flowing through to the blowers for the furnace. Don't know about the 43s.

Just noticed that the hydronic system on the 43s is diesel-fired. Do you have plenty of diesel on board?

I do have a full tank of diesel, but I believe that mine runs on propane

I do have power to the thermostats, have checked that all of the circuit breakers are on. Is there any type of pilot that needs to be lit? I will look to see if there is a winter/summer switch

I think the standard hydronic unit is propane fired, the option is for a diesel fired unit.

So I finally did what I should have done in the first place, called Lee at Steinbring and as they always do he had the answer. He helped me locate the main switch and told me to flip it off and then on as it most likely just needed to be recycled, and it worked. Thanks for all of your responses, eventually I will come to understand all of the different systems. Thank you again, this is a great forum.
