fuse location for air horn, thermostat etc.

Hello, my 1994 kountry aire air horn doesnt work. I pushed the fuse panel switch on dash but that does nothing. My winshield washer doesnt spray either. The pump works as a mechanic did it manually but didnt have time to locate possible fuse. My bedroom thermostat display doesnt work. Anybody know where to look in rv to fix? Main thermostat works perfect. Also, my reverse camera comes on then fades to black. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

with so many things not working I would look at your ground connection first as it would be common to all of those issues.

No mention of the electric horn working from, cuff999 or greg-1.
The dash switch on my DSDP connects the air horn solenoid to the electric horn button , the air horn solenoid and the washer pump are close enough ; on my coach to share a common ground; good place to start checking.
T'stat, only one on mine , has an in-line fuse , behind the return air grill, don't know if that would be a common location for an older unit , but worth a look.

Chassis , manufacturer's name would also be a help. Spartan ? Freightliner ?

Greg-1,
You have a line of switches under radio and the one on left side switches between electric horn and air horn. I would start looking at that switch.

Our electric horn on the roof doesn't work either. There is a switch on the dash which I assume you toggle over but don't know what controls the actual activation of the horns. ??????

cuff99, 94 coach will be hard to find wiring for that year, here is some links that may give a clue possibly, the 12v wiring than the 12v battery but I think your batteries are up front over bumper.
You may have a small relay involved for air or electric horn and regular horn operation.

Hey 007,
How about the 2003 Kountry Star. Mine has not worked since I bought this coach. I know you have the same one. Any ideas on why its not working I push the switch and then the horn but nothing happens exept the regular horn.

Actually 007, I called Newmar when I bought my 94 Kountry Star a few years back and using the last 6 digits of the VIN they sent me complete wiring and plumbing diagrams - 12 pages worth. They even had the Spartan side of the chassis diagrams! Kudos to them.

Cuff999.. call Newmar and have them email you a set.

Then somewhere you would have to have a compressor : probably 12volt : for the air horns, and the whole system may have been added by a previous owner. So Newmar may not be able to help with any wiring info.

I'll describe the daisy chain of operation for my horns, electric and air, and maybe that will help others. Note I do not have a smart wheel.
Horn fuse gets it's power from an ignition on circuit, and supplies power to the horn relay. The horn button on the steering wheel, supplies the relay ground to activate it. When the relay is active it supplies power to the electric horn; and the air horn dash switch. When the dash switch for the air horn is on, power goes to the air horn solenoid, the solenoid opens and allows air pressure to the horns.
For proper operation , the steering column wiring , electric horn wiring and the air solenoid wiring, must have good grounds, as well as power from the ignition , through the fuse , relay and switch.
The fuse, relay, steering column, and electric horn, are part of the chassis wiring, and the fuse and relay are located in the chassis fuse box. The dash switch , air horns and solenoid are Newmar installed. Making the horn operation a cross over circuit, and adding to diagnostic problems.
