FWS Dutchstar

Iím sure it is somewhere in this forum already but canít seem to find what I am looking for. I notice fluid leaking in Driver side pill thru cargo bay from what looks to be a closeout for some sort of actuator/motor. I am suspecting this has something to do with the FWS but canít find anything HWH manual like a schematic. FWS operated fine but more than residual fluid seap. Any help appreciated.

I had an o-ring leaking on my hydraulic system leaking only when I closed the FWS. it was a quick fix for Newmar. I am sure there are folks on this site with more details on how to trouble shoot and repair issue

I had a small leak that showed up in the second bay pull out tray. It turned out to be just a not quite tight enough fitting on the hydraulic cylinder for the FWS which you can see in that bay overhead. A quick tighten and no more leak.

The hydraulic cylinders for your FWS are directly above that tray. Does the fluid appear to be red hydraulic fluid. If so, it likely is a loose fitting.

Update. I had a chance to take a closer look today and determined it is the lift actuator, which has a plastic cover enclosing it. Unfortunately. Top screws on cover canít be accessed unless another plastic closeout above basement door is removed. Bigger job than I could tackle today and will have to wait till weekend to find out if a hose connection or actuator.
