Does anyone where the oil fill neck on my CD7000 Generac genset is located in my 2000 Dutch Star? Would appreciate a picture or link to a manual for this genset. The Newmar manuals don't say much at all.

Rnicfingrp, I don't have a Generac in my coach, but I have one (branded Guardian) at my house as a stand-by. Like the Onan's mine has a 1 1/4" plastic screwed cap half way down one side of the engine block. This is usually on the same side as the dip stick. Her also is a LINK to one of Generac's website for manuals. I couldn't find your particular model, but you may be able to find one like it. I hope this is of some help. Good luck.

Peter

I took the rock shield off the RV last weekend and looked at the genset up close. I found a screw on plug on the "hard to get" left side of the genset. The "easy" right side with the thumbscrews didn't have anything that looked like a oil filler hole. I guess I'll have to add oil via the oil stick. Any problem with doing that?
I also had to replace the short section of fuel line to the injectors. Did you know noone in Dallas, Texas, has a small hose clamp that fits the injector side of the line! I wound up going to a lawnmower shop for the injector side of the clamp and making a spacer for the fuel line supply side.

Thanks for the post but apparently the web pages are inoperable and won't 'pull up' on my computer.
