This might be 'Dumb' But

Whe running Gen does it power thru Transfer Switch and/or Surge Protector???? Either/Niether or both???

Might help me figure out My TS and SG issues on Shorepower!!!!

The genset does run through the transfer switch, in fact is has priority over shore power. It does not operate through an external surge guard.

If you have an internally installed Surge Protector it can be wired in fronnt of the transfer switch or on the outut of the transfer switch. I wired my Surge Guard on the output so it monitors and protects both shore power and the generator.

Thanks Peter!! I was thinking if Gen power 'did' go thru one or the other I could eliminate That from my other problem!!!

Peter I mis read re Has priotity over Shorepower as thinking it did not go thru TS But as it does "IF" my Gen power works my issue is with the SG Or the outlet!!!

Norm I think My SG is before TS. Just looking at wiring!!! But not 'Sure'
