Girard Awning Control Help wanted

Anyone know how to set the time, or find a manual for this control?
I searched the big box and could not find anything. On the Girard website, the interior controls look way different. I could not find anything on the Newmar website either.
It seems to be displaying the (wrong) time and we'd like it to display the correct time.
It "works" in that it extends and retracts the awning.

It may not be a Girard. Carefree makes some the look exactly like them. I know I was surprised that our Magna had the OEM Carefree ones for the two main awnings and remote control Girards over the windows.

1) The literature for the 2015 Dutch Star says it is a Girard G2000 Awning.
2) The logo on the control is Girard's.
I kinda think it is a Girard.

I have the same control panel for my Girard awning, and am equally curious as to how to set the clock. Mine also came with the wrong time. I was also wondering if the reason for the clock is to let you program in a time to auto retract the awning.

At least I know I'm not alone. DW keeps looking at it for the time. And it is not close.
I spent this morning setting the other 3 clocks in the coach, in each case, the manual helped. Must be some combination of buttons.

Clyde --

I am surprised that someone in the know has not posted on this yet, but it is a new control I believe, at least to Newmar. When you have guidance on this, it would be greatly appreciated if you will make sure it gets posted to your thread for all of our benefit. If there is no quick response from Forum members, my guess is that either the dealer (if good) or Newmar Customer Service will know.

Thanks.

The dealer (Tom Lindstrom) has said he will look into it. I also found (but have not yet looked at) a DVD amongst some "stuff" that didn't make it to the suitcase. I'll look at it tonight. and I will post if I find out how to set the time. It's a little thing, but would be nice to know how things work.

Clyde, here is a PFD for awning which you may have, do you have the part # for the clock.

007,
No, the clock seems to be integral to the switches. I don't know why it has a clock on it, but it does, and it displays in 24-hour mode.
All the switches work (that are supposed to work). The unit (pictured above) matches nothing on the Girard website, yet it seems to have the Girard Logo on it. I cannot locate it on the Newmar website either.

Deek,
I did read all the manuals on the CD that Girard provided, but nothing on it was later than 2013, and nothing pictured was anything like what was pictured above.

If Tom does not get back to me by the middle of the week, I'll call Newmar.

Hi Clyde,

I had the same issue. I called Girard and they sent me the instructions. I'm at work now but will post them tonight.

I'm glad it worked. I sent the pdf on to my dealer as well as he didn't know how to set it either.

I get to try it tomorrow, my DS doesn't live with us. Must drive about 18 miles, but I seem to be there several times a week.
