Girard awnings on newer Newmar coaches

Has the wind sensor become more reliable on the newer coaches? I think most coaches from my era have them disabled because they don't work right.

I don`t trust mine on a 2011 MADP. I pull in the awnings before we leave and at night and when the wind starts to pick up. I have tried to watch during some wind hoping they would pull in but never happened and I did not have the nerve to leave them out longer.

Good Luck
JP
