Girard G2085 Awning Operational Manual

According to the Girard website, the Operational Manual for the G2085 window awning is not yet available ??? one of my window awnings is not fully retracting, lacks about 1 1/2 " from completely closing up....I can see some "adjustment screws, one "+" and one "-" on the end roller, but have no idea how they work....does anyone know hoe to make this adjustment ??? thanks

I don't have those awnings but I have had to recently re-calibrate my Nova awnings. I'm willing to bet the procedure for adjusting yours is similar to the Nova's. I found the Dometic awning over my front door was similar as well.
Hope this helps.

Scott

Scott, thanks for the info....diagrams looked very similar so I set about making the adjustments as per instructions, started turning the rear allen head screw I/4 turn at a tine to bring awning in at stop position, after making almost a half a dozen complete turns with nothing happening, I decided to cycle the awning completely out and back in to see if it required that to recalibrate....to my surprise now the awning only went half way out ....well by now everybody has probably figured this one out, with the G2085 while the adjustment instructions are the same as those for the Nova, the adjustment screw locations on the G2085 are reversed from the Nova, ie. on the G2085 the rear screw adjusts the extend limit and the front screw adjusts the retract limit, just opposite of the Nova....good news is once you figure out which screw adjusts what, it is a very simple process
