Goodyear G670 RV versas Michelin Pilote XZA1

What are your thoughts on the Good Year G670 RV as a replacement for the original equipment Michelin Pilote XZA1. Tire size is 295/80/R22.5 on both?
These Michelins are good tires but cost to much. Also after about five years they are bad about side wall cracks. Also what kind of prices is everyone seeing .

I have always had Michelin tires on my Newmars when need of replacement got Michelin's.
In the process of changing current Michelin's on our ten year coach not because of cracking but because of age.
When I had other coach's with Goodyear tires changed them back to Goodyear mostly because of age not cracking.
Had all my tires in recent brake job off and all still looked good both sides no cracking.
Proper tire inflations according to weights I believe has given me many miles of use with what ever tires I may have had.
Tires are isolated from ground contact with plywood panels.

Hi jayhawk1,
Like 007, I have had only Michelin tires since 1965. Are you a FMCA member? If so, FMCA has a very good discount program on Michelin tires for FMCA members. I just replaced my steer tires and saved about $125 per tire. FMCA price was $495 and the dealers discounted price was about $625 (from memory).

Headed to Spartan to put new Michelin's on. Price from Spartan was $40 higher than thru FMCA and since we were going that way it was hard to beat! 70,000 miles and six years but all tires are showing sidewall cracks-so just in case will replace.
