Picked up our new to us, 1999 Mountian Aire, Friday afternoon at the dealer in Ohio. We were going to spend our first night in it at the dealer, but after getting the propane filled decided to head back south because of predicted snow. We stopped at the Flying J in Walton, KY., filled up the fuel tank and parked in the RV area for the night. I fired up the generator,and put the outdoor sensor for my indoor-outdoor thermometer in the wet bay to keep an eye on the temp in there. We had a nice meal and a bottle of wine to celibrate, and relaxed a while before going to bed. I got up about 4:30 and got coffee made before looking outside and seeing SNOW. I woke up the DW and said we better get going because there was about 3/4in on the ground and still coming down. Got on I75 south again and drove on snow covered highway for quite sometime, what a way to get broken in driving a class A. Got it home to Knoxville, TN. safe and sound before it started snowing here. So far I'm very pleased with it and looking foward to many more miles on hopefully sunny, dry roads.

Congrats on your first drive and making a safe journey. The first trip can be nerve wracking even on a sunny day. Go to the Newmar Kounrty Club web site. It is a klub for owners of Newmar products. It is full of great people and we have an outstaning time with our rigs. Consider joining to club. It may be the time of your life.

Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Gary is right. It can be an anxious moment driving a class A for the first time, as I can attest -- and fortunately I was driving in good weather. Enjoy.

Good for you getting home safely.

All ways fun when driving in snow for the first time, the MA on the Ford should of handle very well. You deserve some KARMA.

days.

Snow and motor homes aren't a good combination...Now we BOTH know!!

Congrat's Jimary. I had a '99 MA Ford powered coach which I had bought new in '99. I had absolutely zero problems with it. Ran great even in the Rockies. I hope yours gives you the service mine did me. Enjoy.
