Great experience at Midway RV

My Bay Star Sport thermostat shut down the A/C three times last month - each time it was on 110 power. It had a fault code E1, which is loss of 12 volt power. I re-started it and it would run for several days before doing it again. I ran the gen and drove 150+ miles-no problems. I let it sit for two hours on the generator, still no problems. It's the dreaded random problem that works when you try to fix it...grrr.

I called Dave at Midway in Grand Rapids, MI - where I bought the coach - and explained the situation. I know that this is their busy season and I told Dave that I would drop it off and I didn't need it back until Aug. 9. Dave offered to work me in as time permitted.

I called yesterday and it was done. It turned out to have a suspect spot on the thermostat circuit board, so he replaced the thermostat and test-ran the unit for six hours to test it.

It was a warranty repair and it was handled in a timely manner. The coach was spotless inside, there was even an old bath towel on the floor to protect the carpet.

Moral of the story: pick a quality dealer, be reasonable in your requests and life is good. Thank you, Dave and Midway. Great people to deal with.

We also purchased from Midway. Nothing but good experiences with them.

We had a hydraulic leak and the washer had to be pulled for Whirlpool to fix. Midway was able to squeeze us in and saved our scheduled trip to Texas.

Same goes here, I would drive across the country to deal with Midway RV, I bought my Bay Star there last year from Bill Brown. Dave and the team in Service are the best I've ever come across, can't say enough about everyone at Midway.

I heard great things about them. I am about 2 hours away and would consider purchasing off them in the future.

Great to hear a positive report of a good dealership. Too much negative stuff out there.

Purchased our Mountain Aire there as well. Couldn't of had a better experience dealing with them. Class Act to say the least.

Have nothing but great things to say about Midway. Bought a Newmar coach there a couple of weeks ago. They did a very good prep, did exactly what they said they'd do (and more). Very thorough, very professional. A pleasure doing business with them.

Didn't buy my coach from them and needed work. They got me in and out during busy season. The dealer I bought the coach from can't get anything out in less than two weeks. I will buy next coach from them. Dave in service is great.

I'll pile on. Good people, enjoyed working with our sales associate (Kyle), as did friends of ours now waiting for their new DS to be built.

Just had a great service experience at Midway RV on 8/23/2017. They fixed everything on my punch list plus a warranty issue while I waited! How many places do that?
