We are greatful for everyones imput, all the information we have read on this forum.

What worries me most is that we have our shakedown trip end of Feb or 1ST week in March combined with our west coast swing trip in April. Gabi is wondering whether we should GPS our route around Coach Care or dealerships
We really want this to go well right out of the chutes. We are keeping a sense of humor about this
Our routes generally go west immediately (rocky mountain high!) so having these issues worked out is extremely important (refer, belts, etc,...)
Napannee is at least a long.....2 days away for us, so going back and forth isn't our idea of the perfect vacation!
This would be our seventh motorhome and NONE were problem free. Two years ago our 04 revolution (great coach BTW) came to Denver on a hook from Central Wyoming because of a defective main breaker (would chatter, shut all power off for a few minutes-then came back on as we would coast to a stop-eventually spit the bit entirely)so we have had our share of problems.
Guess i just expect better! I know it's not Newmar's fault altogether, but jeez.....
We are hanging in there
Ernie and Gabi

p.s. Gabi really LOVES this coach

I would hate to think you would have to route your trip near dealers. I would just keep an eye on everthing and enjoy yourself. Hopefully your trip will be without issue. Enjoy and drive safe.

Hi! Don't Worry Be Happy Because of all the previous Essex problems, the forum gang have solved all the problems that creep up on the early models. You should get a trouble free coach that will give many miles of Joy! Paul

I will bet that if you get the Spartan updated fan hub and belt issues already corrected when your coach arrives (assuming it has not yet), you will not have to worry with any more concerns that with any other new rig.

Best of luck and thanks to Rebelsbeach, Lugnut, Roadpilot, and others who have helped with the postings, many of the K2 issues will be off the tote sheet.

Thats the way to go hang in there and hammer them with your PDI that you have been keeping.
Check for the upgrades "Spartan" is doing so you will have a safe and uneventful trip.
The small STUFF can be taken care of in due time.
