Thanks for the update, 007.
We are preparing info for distribution to all Hoots II registrants for activities in the area during our rally and we will be putting a list together for all Hoots activities at the Two Rivers Landing RV Resort during our stay.
The resort is, hands down, one of the very best resorts on the entire east coast and our rally rate is at a cost that is simply incredible for our week in this lovely area in Tennessee. With our special rate, you can't stay at a KOA any cheaper.
We are working on having at least two Newmar reps with us coming in from Nappanee -- one from Engineering and one from Design. Matt Miller has been directly involved in this selection. This will be great fun to have them with us and they are prepared for us to try to stump them with engineering and design questions. They will also be looking to us to give them ideas from our group as to what we most want to see in future Newmar models.
We're also hoping to get a dealer to bring in two or three '15 models to tour and/or test drive for our participants. We're confident that we will be able to get this put together.
Last, but not least, there will be plenty of fun and informative get togethers for all Hoots II sign ups -- at the resort, at dinners in the surrounding towns, at tours and activities in the area that our group will have available and, of course, at the "Tour of the Coaches" among our participants (one of the really memorable highlights of our time spent last year).
Yes, there is a fair likelihood that there will be at least a few excellent adult beverages to go along with our fellowship. There will most certainly be plenty of good banter about engineering and modifications updates from the likes of PDR John, Redbaron73, Ma Snart, FLSteve and MnBob and the great new class of the '14 Newmar owners. I might possibly be induced to make a presentation about Dr. Deek's surgery on our rear bath electric toilet after the appearance of the mysterious 4 x 4 which clogged the impeller and brought our flushing activity to a quick halt a year or so ago.
And there will be discussion about how people have creatively organized their coach space and decors. And we will have a return of the terrific "Ransom Notes", the fabulous musical family who played for us twice last year and were warmly received by all.
And just wait till the T shirts, sweatshirts, caps and blankets (yes, blankets), all embroidered with Hoots logos, hit the gathering!
It will be a fun time for all.
Still plenty of room for more to sign up who are interested.
