I noticed more brush bars on the front of 18 wheelers too. Figured they are for deer but you never know.

Last week on the freeway there was a congested spot - like a parking lot and it ended up being a younger guy in a blazer/suv going about 50 in the middle lane. An 18 wheeler that had worked his way up and just got behind him, had enough and blasted him with the air horns for a long time - at the same time I got up beside the suv and blasted my jeep horn and finally the suv slid into the right lane, almost reluctantly.
Some people's kids.

We have been "Weavered" on a few occasions.
Good memory for films. I though that the role Dennis played in the movie was one of his best. I watched the movie recently.

Seems like the crazy drivers come in bunches. When they show up I just slow down a little more and they usually disappear over the horizon.

Many 18 wheelers like to drive at night and when driving through open range areas they can come upon a variety of large animals with very little time to react.

I try to run the speed limit, sometimes it's better to run with traffic but I will not run over 75 mph dragging my 33ft 5er.

I've tried running the same as speed limited trucks. Just too many folks running 10+ mph over the speed limit.

4 years ago my dash cam saved me insurance. Parked in a line to pick up a pizza at a drive up when the pick up in front of me got tired oif waiting, put it in reverse and floored it into the front of our GMC 3500HD. Accident looked like I ran into him. Sent the camera video to his insurance and had a check in the mail the next day.

In my motorhome, car, truck, motorcycle. Should be no surprise. Always expect a dangerous move on the part of people you share the road with and you will not be disappointed.
