Have you tried Newmar's new Slide Roller Tile Protectors?
For 2015 Newmar has come out with Tile Floor Protectors. They are called ABS PROTECTORS (about $20 each) and the part numbers are:
24" #125706
32" #125605
Having tile floors in our Essex I'm interested in how well they work. If you look at Newmar's Facebook Page you will notice the black stripes on the tiles coming out from under the FWS...these are the new Tile Protectors.

Dan,
I agree and interested as well. I am curious as to how they stay in place. Do they stick to the existing floor ? etc.

E-A-G-L-E-S, GO... Are you going to be at the MB September Rally? I'll look for the flags. Also, looking to swap some Eagles, Phillies and Flyer memorabilia.

Dan, are those specifically made by Newmar? I'm thinking they are likely made by an outside vendor....AR, maybe?

I believe these are a Newmar product due to the lip that fits into the groove between the tile and the slope. When I called the Newmar Parts, there were none available. Again I believe that Production was getting all the Protectors. But it will be a matter of time till Parts get some.

This may be a little too redneck for some, but what I did was cut 3 linoleum strips. I then shaved a 45 degree angle on one end and butted that to the roller ramp. The slide roller rides up the ramp and before hitting the floor it catches the linoleum strip.

harleychief ... I think we need to check these out at Hoots II. Don't forget to bring them.

Saw them in action on a few '15 models in which they are standard (I think they are standard on all FWS models across the lines). They work very well, are very easy to place and are no fuss, no muss. I would have them on any FWS model coach.

Do you leave them on the floor or take them up after you deploy the slide? I don't think they add much to the decor.

Looks like a pain. Why not redesign the rollers with some sort of soft shell so they do not scuff / mar the porcelain tile? Just one more thing to add to your teardown / setup list.

How about some pictures. And can you expand on the "shaving" idea?
