Been long time since I asked for help so here goes. We had the problem with water in the driving lense in the front drivers side (L) lense. So we did drill the little holes and put some clear caulking on the top part and since all the big rains not one leak. HOWEVER, the lense is discolored and seems to have all these hair line cracks in it....one can only suppose....the heck it caught before we got it.

Any way men and ladies I looked on the lense and this is what it say's (L) then (SAE HRI5P 98) then (TYE 20-5360) then (15H21V) and (HB5DOT)

The housing unit that it fits on to is in excellent shape and a new bulb/s were replaced due to the water.

IF anyone can help us find out where to start searching or do we just need to go to our local RV place
$$$$ to get one........

And does it come with those 4 little metal clips or do you buy them seperately.

And who said there weren't any of us looking around for a question to ask....

luxrv, try calling Newmar repair number have your coach MFG # to give them and they will give you correct order number thru a dealer near you. Was able to get correct floor tile number to replace some tiles.

I did call them and told them the year and modle they gave me the number and said I needed to go to an RV (Newmar) dealer to order it. That they don't sell to the public. I thanked him and I suppose I will go over to the local dealer and pay them to order the darn thing ..... is this normally how things go.

Just wondering since this is the first Part so to speak that we would like to have replaced.

It is, unless you can find one in a junk yard to match the same lens you have. Maybe if you drive coach there they might match it. Some of the lens are used from car MFG's.

Last time we were near a junk yard was in pouring down rain on Hwy 9 Coming out of Nova Scotia area headed to Bangor Maine on our Goldwing 3 wheel.
The road was completely taken up right to the red mud...we pulled over for a breather and the JUNK YARD DOG YIIIIKKKEESSSS nearly ate my leg. LOLOLO

Guess we will go to the dealer...love dogs not junk yard type though...has nothing to do with us going to find the lense though does it.

Just ramblings of days gone by.

Thanks so very much for your help at least someone did answer me.

Peggy

Peggy,
Try Autolights Inc. 1-800-720-6555.
Don't know if they have a website. One of the people in our Bounder e-group just reported buying some for 29.95 each. His used Ford pickup lenses. Worth a call anyway,
Loren
