Head Lights on 08 MADP

I have driven my coach very little at night but recently on a trip to Virgina I cut through Harper's Ferry WV, man was it dark and my head lights were not up to the task. Upon arrival at the dealer I discovered water in what I thought was the head lights, far outside of the nose. I thought wrong, I guess, although head light handle turned on the outside lights, when the Dealer ordered a new set of head lights what came were the larger lights nearer to the center of the nose that light up when the high beams are on. Long story short the coach is evidently wired wrong. Does anyone else have this problem? Can you confirm that the inside lights are indeed the main head lights? Thanks in advance for any response.
