Heat Pump

On my 2903 Bay Star I plugged a short cord into a I believe a 20 amp outlet, turned off microwave, refer etc & turned on one heat pump and E7 showed up on the control (thermostat). It did not come on so I turned on the gas. Getting ready to take a short trip and have it outside with water in it and wanted to be sure everything is OK. Does anyone know what E7 means?
I also have an HDMI cable for the rear TV and I have no idea what it is for? Does not matter if it is plugged in or not. Thanks for any help you may give me.

E7 is a loss of 120volt power to the A/C or heat pump unit itself.

The HDMI cable on the raer TV may be to hook up a computer/DVD player etc.
