Heat Pump ?

We have noticed that if I switch from roof AC to HP we notice a wet musty smell and it will even fog up the mirror in the rear bath. This feels like you are in a sauna and the air is thick with humidity. After it runs for a while this will go away. We are in a very humid area right now. I have never noticed this in my previous 4 MH's. What should I be looking for on the roof air's? Bill

In AC mode, the interior coils are cold and moisture condenses on them. So they're wet all the time. When you change to heat pump, the interior coils are heated, so all that water turns to steam. So basically normal.

The musty smell would concern me more; could be some mold in the a/c. Might want to have it cleaned if it concerns you.

Thanks for the response. Makes since. My previous 2 Tiffin's didn't have the AUTO on the thermostat and it would not switch from one to the other. Bill
