Being a new owner, I am still " discovering " the obvious. I see a heating element in the wet bay..looks like water lines going to it. When does this work...what turns it on or off. I have Oasis hydronic heating.

Also..have a heating pads switch in the bathroom. Is there any way to verify that they work? I don't see a easy way to get to my tanks to look for them.

Thanks.

There should be a thermostat on the water control board. When the Oasis is on it circulates hot glycol to the heater to keep the water compartment from freezing. Stick your head under the lower water control panel and you might see part of the heater on the bottom of the tanks. Didn't you get a manual with the coach? Should have it all in there. Also I believe Newmar gives you a DVD on the systems. Maybe you didn't get it.

My manual is very generic...lots of general info that doesn't seem to apply to some of the more advanced features of this unit. Will see if I can get Newmar to send me a diskette..perhaps they are better?

I have found Newmar's documentation sorely lacking. As stated above, my owner's manual is extremely generic and often refers you to the specific component's owner's manual, which may or may not be of further assistance. The owner's manual also says the DVD has a detailed list of appliances and components that can be referred to. Well...no it doesn't.

This board has been of FAR more assistance to me than the documentation supplied with my coach.

Going back aways the generic black case was all there was.
As time moved on they supplied a disk and now the COM_NET2 link that has more up to date stuff and they do add info as they see fit.
I know its not like Winnebago web but they are learning.
Another item not over looked there are many here that will come up with the answer sometimes bettering Newmar ourselves.
