Moving my question over to form.
Our 1994 Kountry Star room will not move out. Press button get voice to undo lockdowns, et.. But thye nothing.
Problem it has not been used for 3 years.
Mice ate generator, rebuilt that, room slides underneath have been done with WD-40.
Now she wants to use it to go to Dog Show.
Where do you get service in Northeastern Mass ?

Welcome aboard rollbob.
Here is a link that will explain the operation of your slides.
There is more slide control info in Quick Tips & Mods link.
Your control for slide maybe under your kitchen cabinet area or in a cabinet hutch on your bathroom wall in living area.
When you find control unplug the plugs and check the power plug and see if you have 12V supply. Also use some contact spray and clean the plug connections.
Under the slide were slide motor is clean that plug also.
It isn't necessary to lube the slide rails.

Well thats nice, you can drop the head light frame out and see them direct through hole.
Your 12V house fuses should be inside coach, have you looked on side of bed platform may have panel or door to gain access.
Someone with 94 ECM747X JUST CAME ON AND HE HAS A 94 he may see this and post.

It seems that's all I do. I'd like to get some one else to do it.
Where do you go for Newmar service?

I would do it if near you and I do not bother with dealers.
Near you you may try Marty's use to be Newmar dealer or Cross Roads near RT#4 nearest Newmar dealer Dave's RV in CT.
Did you check under bed.

Well now as someone always said " Now you have the rest of the story."
Thanks for sharing that, can understand your situation now and good luck to you in your new adventure.
That leaves me with some questions myself as to how you get up the four steps into motor home where and how you store your mobility, you have a partner for help and driving etc, etc?
As to get you help looked up on GOOGLE a Mobil RV REPAIRMAN in your area have found one that may help you, there are others also.
You have links I have given you and others in Quick Tips that can help him with your systems in your coach and of course we are here to help also.

Thank you for link but Brad says I'm to far away for him, asked him years ago. Had Lowell Light Truck & Auto here he would fix one thing and another would need repair. I didn't mind paying for the repairs but he got very upset, said we were breaking these things.
We have shore power plugged in to long, don't generator enough (I ran it once a month Till fuel got to one quarter tank). We didn't move room out very often (wife did every month).
He rebuilt generator - mice ate wires, OK.(new crank shaft)
He said he got room to slide out, we never saw it.
He put new house batteries in it. (Optima house and chaise)
New entry steps, Kwikee steps, which would not work. (Wrong steps, but that was the numbers he gave us).
It seems we could do nothing right for him. So he is getting out of the RV repair business.
May try Lowell Fleet Maintenance next.

You need someone familiar with motor homes, truck shops great with trucks, but motor homes not likely unless he owns one.
Will keep looking so stay tuned.
Maybe if I can find the time wife's in dialysis M,W,F so a weekend or T,Thursday its a ride down #495 will see what I can do.
You will need to send me PM with your address.

Yes here is the control you need.
You can call Jeanne at Newmar and see what they list them for, possibly higher.

We just had a bad one of those in the shop. The owner tweaked the sensitivity to compensate for bad seals and literally blew foils open on the control board after breaking several shear pins and damaging the driven shaft..NOT a cheap board!!!

The motor is geared so low it will crush your arm if you get it between the wall and fascia of slide.
