Just wanted to drop a quick note to say "thank you" to all of you. Although you didn't know it, you were a tremendous help to us as the DW and I spent the past couple of years looking for our first motorhome. The fine people here helped convince us that a Newmar was the way to go.
We picked up our 1999 DSDP on Friday and can't wait to take it camping in the spring. Of course, there's plenty to do between now and then and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions to ask.
The DW and I compete in pointing dog field trials with our Brittanys so we'll be towing our horses in a 2-horse trailer and packing six or more dog crates in the spot behind the front passenger seat (currently occupied by a love seat). We'll have our newborn son with us and I'm planning to add two seatbelts to the forward-facing seat of the dinette so we have a good spot for a car/booster seat.
Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know all of you better.
Best wishes,
Dan

Congrats and welcome. Of course you already know you will learn to love this site and you can't imagine all the help that is at your fingertips with the fine people here that are always willing to help you with questions. It's Jan. and here in MN we're finally getting some normal weather going on. -29 below zero with wind chill this morning and around 6 inches of snow to come tomorrow but..........I'm already dreaming of being out camping next spring in our newmar motorhome Once again, Welcome and many happy miles of enjoyment in your new motorhome.
