We arrived at 3:30 this afternoon. Camp Newmar is EMPTY. Wow! 50 amp power, sewage and even water with the deep throated taps. Have your pick, they are all open. Looks like we will be alone for three days, as service is not open until Monday the 7th.
Hello-------------hello, hello..... See there is an echo. It's kind of spooky, and this isn't Halloween.
On the positive side, I guess Newmar is building them to perfect for the need to service. Yah, right.

You're surprised?
The rest of us are in Florida.
Unfortunately, we have the same weather conditions as you......................until tomorrow.

I don't think they service Barth's there but Peter would probably enjoy your company.

Peter,
My wife and I will join you over the weekend at Camp Newmar. We just moved into our new 2008 Essex and have spent the last two days moving in and handling all the paperwork. We took delivery from Midway in Grand Rapids, MI on January 2, and it has been a pleasant experience. They are nice folks to works with. Look for a gold 2008 Essex (not your typical colors) and stop by for a visit.

Hi Peter,
Wish we were there as planned but the new house closes on Monday so best we stay. Got the coach started today but it was very reluctant - ran the genny for 90 minutes to get the batteries charged and even then it took a lot of cranking before the engine would start. On the brighter side, I guess if everything got going OK when it's this cold we should be OK to go when we're ready.

Lug & Gene: I'll see y'all there on Sunday! 06Jan. Save a spot for the white (well probably formerly white after traveling through the snow) EX or maybe with a little clean luck I'll just blend in with the snow and you'll never know I'm there...

Hi Jeff, I had the block heater on for at least a couple of hours but that's all the time I had because I have no access to a plug in and have to use the generator.

Peter,
Have fun at Newmar. I find it a bit fun being all warm and cozy in my coach when it is freezing outside.
BTW, it got down into the 50s here in Key West. It was horrible. Windy too. Blew the umbrella right out of my drink.
Good travels on the rest of your trip down here.
Sorry if I haven't kept track in the posts, are you going to be at the Supershow?
