I am looking at buying a used 2006 mountain Aire from a local dealer, he lists it as a B42PHT however i can't find any info on this model. It is a triple pushout with four bunks in the rear (2 fold down). Can anyone help me find some info on this unit?

Jasonf, I think you may have been given some wrong product on the manufacturer and model number on this fifth wheel. In 2006 Newmar Mountain Aire product line is a Class A diesel pusher, not a fifth wheel. Thier is a 5th wheel on the internet with the info you provided for sale by CanAm RV, if this is the unit you are looking at, I noted that the picture provided is of a Keystone Montana Mountaineer 5th wheel not a Mountain Aire. The Keystone RV Montana Mountaineer has a floorplan number of 332PHT which is very similar to what you describe. Here is are the links to what I found:

CanAm RV

332PHt

The Keystone info is for there 2009 product line, their website may lead you an archive site that has some info, if in fact this is the unit you are referring to.

Talk about bad information - in 2006 the Mountain Aire was the middle of the Newmar fiver line (there were also Mountain Aire MHs). Top of the fiver line was the Kountry Aire, Mountain Aire one step down and Kountry (?) Star the lowest.

That does not sound like a Newmar model number though - the 2005 (that's the brochure I have) Mountain Aire fiver models were 35BLKS through 38SDKC. There were no bunkhouse models in the Newmar line-up in 2005 and I have never seen one (And we looked at a LOT of Newmars)

In 2006 there was no Mountain Aire fifthe wheel. It was Cypress-Torrey Pine-Kountry Aire
