help..Need muffler

Hello
my 2004 Newmar Dutch Star with 370 cummins ISL engine needs a muffler.
It calls for a Nelson 27860 N ( non-catalyst) I cannot locate one. One company said need 4 weeks lead time and a ridiculous price as well.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated...Thank you

Just curious, but what happened to your original muffler?

I had put a versahaul on the rear of the MH to put my Vespa on. As I was driving ramp on the versahaul would kep on hitting the tail pipe until it broke through the outlet end of the muffler......( lots of heat comes out that) I did not know it was happening until i reached my destination 1400 miles away.

I should have done that...
I listened to a friend of mine that is super mechanic...but not a muffler specialist. and he said i should replace it. He could be wrong. I did order a new one today.
I would think that cutting a round disc with a hole in the center to be place over the end of the muffler could be welded on.

now that i see how expensive the muffler is I just might see if it can be repaired and sell it. Other than the damage the muffler looks nice and clean to me.

I just had my annual safety inspection yesterday and was not entirely surprised to hear that I'm probably on my last year with the current muffler. It has pin holes developing near the inlet end. My coach is stored outside in a pretty humid environment. I guess it's to be expected.
