i have just purchased a new to me 2001 Kountry Star 34BLDS. At time of purchase I noted that the spare tire was missing and I wanted it replaced. The dealer's (a Newmar dealer) service department is telling us they don't know how to mount a spare on this unit. They are considering trying to mount it in the front storage compartment. Is there anyone with a 2001 Kountry Star that could please tell me where your spare is mounted and if possible take a picture of it and email it to me or post it here. This unit does not have the pullout tray in the rear bumper.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

They did away with spare tires after o4. I have a angle iron cage under the coach behind the gas tank. Your 5th wheel may have room to mount something similar. Your tire would not be as big either. I sure liked that pull out tray on my other older coachs. The big flood lights off rear roof were a plus also.
So much for newer coachs.
