High beams and fog lights not working on 18 LA

Have checked all locations for the fuses for the high beams on headlights and fog lights to see if that is the problem why they aren't working. London Aire on Spartan K3 chassis. Newmar is closed for this 2 weeks for the holidays and wanted to check them before we leave on Friday for Newmar Kountry Klub and then FMCA rallies in Indio. Will be heading for a couple weeks in Quartzsite after those two rallies.

The fuse for headlights should be at the cabinet in front of the driver side wheel. This is where it is on my FL, and I am sure it's the same for spartan. The chassis fuse box has a label, but maybe on the inside cover.

Hi Tom - As a general rule fog lights on vehicles are set up to not run when the high beams are on. Is that your issue? Or are the lights not working at all. BTW - the reasoning is that your high beams should never be used in fog as the lights reflect back and make visibility worse.

No the fog lights aren't working with either parking, driving lights or high beams. Issue maybe adding LED light bulbs in place of regular bulbs. The LED's were working but need to put regular bulbs back in and try again to see if that is the problem. Thanks Tom

Hi Tom - Try reversing the polarity on the LEDs.

Tom,

According to Spartan, there are no "fuses" per se for the headlamps, but rather relays. I had this problem with my regular headlamps 2 months after delivery.

Turns out both bulbs had burned out. Of course that was the last thing I checked Newmar replaced them under warranty..
