Hi Everyone! For thoses of you who may have an interest: Pelican Lake Motor Coach Resort, Naples, Florida is having it's show Fri, Sat, Sun. 10-5. They will have aprox 39 coaches. North Trail wil be here with a Mountain Aire, Essex, and King Aire. Lazy Days with a few coaches. Bluebird with their new '09. and ForeTravel with their latest. Marathon, Liberty, Featherlite, Parliament, Amadas, SuperBus, are among some of the Prevost converters that are also here. I probably missed a name or two. A lot of the coaches started to arrive today (Wed). If anyone from the group makes it here, Jill and I will be trying to help for the whole weekend. We live at 4913 Coach Lane. We will be around the show. Come on down! It is a really nice event. Paul

We have the preshow here in Rver Bend. We have the King Aire, Country Coach, Newells, and Prevost conversions. Marathon is not here and I believe will not be at Pelican either.

Same coaches that were at the Tampa show, minus about 300!

With all of them going to Riverbend and Pelican Lake, I doubt there will be any of the high line coaches at the Ft. Myers show this weekend. Actually, there never are. I'm off to Pelican to see those showcased at Tampa. Somehow I never get tired of seeing the extraordinary coaches. You have to have something to dream about.

Wow! Same coaches less 300? We insisted on a new show. They flew new coaches here just for us. Those coaches are being airlifted tomorrow night, back to the north via air transport.
Please advise, however, if Flash Flood is there. He is from Marathon, Texas.
Hope all is well with all.

Peter

Nothing short of a C130 Hercules or a C5 Galaxy could accomplish that task....

The used Newell is quite a buy. It's an '05 I believe and is the gaudiest paint job with bright yellow accents. Yuk! It was a football crazed fan that had it. (Sounds like Paul). Anyway, the price is $560k. Brian says that includes a new paint job any color and style the buyer wants and new interior colors. He said it will look like it just came off the line.

Our next door neighbor at the Tampa show, test drove it-said it was way underpowered!

The "new" Bluebird had an interior that was tastefully done(finally)!

Paul -

Lisa and I will certainly stop by. Would love to visit with you and Jill and recap your adventures in the mud at Tampa (after we left Lazy Days). I'll give you a call before we come to PL to see if you're around.

Joe, we are planning to meet Jill and Paul tomorrow afternoon at Pelican Lake, along with Pam and John. I was there for a while today with Paul, and there are definitely a swarm of high end coaches present on the grounds. Come over from your beautiful island and join all of us for the viewing. Paul may be a little scarce though, as he has volunteered for parking assistance. Chuck

I am assuming that if I don't own at Pelican I cannot see the high end Motor Coaches. But then if I were there I would be established not needing to change anything. But again that is the beauty of not being a cookie cutter and maximizing life and my circle of friends.
