Home Exchange?

We're prospective Newmar owners, but not until we retire in about 5 years. The Chambers Bay golf course, where the 2015 US Open Championship is 20 minutes away from our home in DuPont WA. I had this idea that perhaps there may be Newmar owners who would like to exchange living arrangements during the US Open Championship. So I thought I'd pose the question and see if there is anyone that would like to explore the idea. It would give the DW and I an opportunity to try on a Newmar for a few days and US Open enthusiasts an opportunity to stretch out in a stick built home. Anywho, PM me if there's interest.

All the best, Marc

My kids have done this all over the world, but I can't envision a Newmar owner wanting to stay locally at someone's house when they already have all the comforts of home in their RV ??

My kidz tend to be into this house-swapping thing. They have just returned from a stint from the wilds of Indonesia, where they stayed in a rather magnificent home while in metropolitan areas, complete with servants, etal.

And it hasn't been all that long since they traded houses and jobs for an entire year with a family in Australia. While the kidz spent the year roaming a dozen countries in the south Asia, their guests in Canada bought a motorhome to spend the year touring Canada. A win-win for everyone!

I figured it would be a stretch to entice a Newmar owner to consider this idea. But thought a golf enthusiast would see the benefit of only having to drive 20 minutes instead of over an hour from the nearest RV park' in South Puget Sound traffic. Besides this is no ordinary home. Seeing our award winning gardens are worth consideration alone!

Some of our friends are big home-to-home fans and enjoy that experience over the hotel scene. But they think we're wacky for wanting to fulltime in retirement!
