Anyone knows how to stop the horn from sounding when locking up or unlocking the doors/bay while using the key chain buttons ? It is most annoying for neighbors when we come in late at night, or at anytime really.
This is a 2006 43 feet Mountain Aire.
Thanks.

A lot depends on the vehicle computer.. But on SOME vehicles (I know GM has this feature) you can disable it from a menu on the driver-information display.

I have to assume others do it as well

If all else fails a service technician can likely tell you what wire to cut

And believe me.. I don't like dog cars (And trucks and such) What's a dog car?

One that barks every time you press a button on the remote, that's what

You may find the wireless lock control box under the dash, and there has to be a horn output wire.

You could also unplug the horns and just use the air horns.

Our 2005 EXDP has the single and double horn chirp for locking and unlocking using the key fob. We can press both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the key fob to lock and unlock the coach without the horn chirping. The coach lights will still flash and you can tell that you have disabled or enabled the system by the flashing LED. On our rig you do not need to disable the horn chirping feature.

Thank you for the tip.
Holding both the lock and unlock buttons does the trick.
