When main flame lights off a milivolt signal is generated via 'flame ionization'
Circuit board must receive this signal or it shuts down DC Voltage to gas solenoid
Return path is via spark electrode
Electrode must be clean free of soot.......use some emery cloth or very fine sandpaper to clean
Electrode must be engulfed in main flame when it lights off....reposition as needed
Electrode spark gap should be 1/8"
Electrode ceramic should be free of cracks and any ground tracking...wipe down with rag sprayed with silicone
High tension wire connections need to be clean/tight at transformer on circuit board and at electrode
Ground screw must be clean/tight.....screw that holds spark electrode assembly provides grounding
At best...a good cleaning/tightening will resolve issue Otherwise.....a new spark electrode assembly and high tension wire
