House batteries fully depleted!
Tonight I discovered that after having our '02 MADP sit for a week without being plugged in the house batteries were down to close to zero volts. Arrrghhhh! Wondering what the heck I did wrong.
Plugged in to shore power and now the charger will not kick in. Voltage was too low. Had to stick another charger on and get it going. Yea , that worked thought I screwed something else up. Once power was restored I discovered a light over the bed was left on and it was one that I had not converted to LED so I guess a week was too much for the batteries on this light and any other small devices.
As I am trying to restore power thinking all the time about departure on Thursday, 4 days away. Hoping that it can be corrected and not be an issue.
So beyond probably knocking some life off my batteries. Any other issues I need to watch out for?
Tomorrow I am going to check the water and top the batteries off.

Deep cycle batteries on good condition , shouldn't be bothered by one draw down, that's what their built for .

Once the batteries are fully-charged, let them rest for a hour then check specific gravity. This has all the information for the procedure-http://www.marxrv.com/12volt/12volt.htm to determine if a cell is damaged or weak.
Camping World ruined my 3 new Interstate house batteries by allowing them to run completely down 2X while it sat waiting for a repair, when all they had to do was activate the battery disconnect.

Hi Spk64,
If the coach batteries are sealed, not sure how one would check the specific gravity. Consider adding a battery load tester to your tool kit. One that produces 100 AMPS minimum should work fine. My tester does 130 AMPS. The tester is easy to use and if the batteries are fully charged, will provide a clear picture of their condition. The tester can be purchase and your favorite auto parts store.

Had the same problem with a coach I am holding for someone when we went to pick up from N.H. campground after over winter stay, after rearranging some of batteries and cleaning them all is good now.
