After suffering from very poor flow when at campgrounds, I decided to remove the filter cartridge and try without...WOW ...what a difference..not quite as good as with the pump, but much better than with the cartridge in place. I dont really want to get sand and rust flakes in my valves, but dont care about the micron sized stuff since we dont drink from the tap....where can I get a non restrictive cartridge to catch just the big stuff?

I opt'd not to get the Newmar installed filter for a couple of reasons, price and flow. I put my own version in. I only have to hook up 1 hose and I am done. I even have a RO system installed and don't have any flow problems.
