If you're talking about the lights by the tires, these are Docking lights and there is a switch marked as such. If you're talking about the ones on each side up towards the roof, these are Security lights. They switches should be in a control cabinet along with the tank gauges, step control, water pump switch, etc

Or... If you are talking about the two spot lights, one over the drivers seat, and one over the passenger seat, they are controlled by the headlight switch, like dome lights...

In my 2008 KSDP, the driver's map reading light is controlled by the "Dome Light" position on the headlight switch (twist the headlight switch and you'll feel the click). HOWEVER, the passenger map reading light is controlled by a switch on the armrest on the passenger's right. It's labeled "Map Light" I believe.

And each light is also controlled by the little push/push switch you mentioned at the base of each light -- but that switch comes after the two above.

IN some cases docking lights only work in reverse or neutral.

thanks for all of the replies. I should have said interior. I would now say they are called "map light". I will try your suggestions. Thanks

This is why you never see an exhaustive owners manual, in RVs... If they tried that, they would have to have a whole group of company people doing nothing but updating and changing. This fact has been true in every RV I've ever owned. Some come with some basic info, and sometimes limited wiring/plumbing diagrams, but not of them were ever 100% accurate...

Giving credit where credit is due, I have to say that the manual for our 2016 Winnebago Via was excellent. The wiring and plumbing diagrams available online were complete.

I’d agree our Winnebago Ellipse has good info.

It’s true though that the Motorhomes are complex and ever changing.
