How do you remove the doghouse on 2012 Bay Star?

My coolant was a little low so I thought I would just change out the coolant while I was at it and check the hoses and maybe change the thermostat at the same time. (The last time we were out my wife wasn't impressed with the heat from the engine so my first thought was the Thermostat.)

My doghouse has two plastic latches on the back of the cover that just use a flat tip screwdriver to turn them out/unlock them. I don't see any other screws but it still seems to be hung up on something and doesn't want to move much. The right side will lift up a little but that is all.

Any ideas? Thanks

Removed it!

Wow. I guess I asked a dumb question, 58 people read this post but no comments.

Well I kept pulling on the doghouse cover, tapping for hidden screws, talked to myself, etc. and finally got the doghouse off. Very tight. There were two metal brackets in the front underside of the cover that slipped under the main part of the doghouse that held that end in. The two quick screw latches (?) in the rear were what caused a lot of the problems because they get hung up on the rubber seal and doghouse base. You kind of have to pull up on one corner, tug, pull, tug and it will come up.

One of the reasons for limited response is quite simply the majority of the people that peruse this forum, have a diesel pusher (DP). They didn't answer because they didn't know.

You are correct. Turn the two locking tabs with a screw driver, lift the rear and pull back. It is quite a bit heavier than I thought it would be.
