I have a post with pictures on how i replaced my Bedroom Slide Bolts. I only had to slide the motor back, insert studs, slide back and to attach. I'm on my phone which is hard for me to surf. Check out all my posts on the slide bolts if you want to "FIX" them. Not any harder to do it right and go rolling down the road.
The biggest issue is breaking loose the "Torque Nut". I used a 15" crescent type wrench with a 2' foot pipe on it to break it loose. After you break it loose it will loosen up about a half a turn. Then you must break it loose again from its locking nut. That got me when i did my first one.....lol...
PM me your phone number if you want me to walk you through it.

SLS, I see how you fixed your bedroom slide out. I wish I could have gotten to mine in time. All four of my female threaded entry points to the motor have completely broken off of the motor housing. Do you have any experience with the removal of this motor? It looks to be quite involved. I spoke with Rick at Newmar this morning and he said to go through the extended warranty company. If they denied the claim, a new motor would cost me around $600. I'm just trying to get all of my options lined up prior to submitting the claim to insurance.

Darn,
Once it's broke the tabs off the shaft needs to come out with the motor. I think i did some research on Newgle and the company that makes the Torque Flex? Lock.
Only because of space does the job get harder.
I could walk you though getting studs or bolts back in. But i would look at the mountings that hold the bearings and shaft and keep in mind that if a "Person" built it, you can probably fix it......
I am on my phone that makes it hard to reasearch.
Can you take a picture of the whole motor and shaft?

SLS, I've attached some pics of what I have. I slid a 3/4" piece of wood between the passenger side of the motor and the steel framing. The drivers side of the motor is up against the other side of the steel framing. I put two clamps on from front to rear. This will at least stabilize the motor from twisting and making it worse, possibly hurting the shaft. Do you know how the two shafts physically connect to the motor?

Yes.......the torque nut splits the shaft in two at the motor. You will only need to take out the side with the motor. Mine was on the left side. The nut is like a drill motor chuck. It works inreverse to tighten inside the motor shaft drum. Just get a BMF open end wrench, crescent wrench, or pipe wrench. I had to put a 2' pipe on mine to brake it loose.
Not much room to swing so i would loosen then move the side to twist the wrench tight again. Inch by inch. Remember, after you brake it loose and unscrew it as far as it will go. You must brake it loose again to unlock it from the drum on the motor. The drum or sleeve is the big part on the motor side that the other half of the shaft attaches or slides into that connect the two together.

The video on the companies web site that sells the Transtorque coupler tells and shows how tight this nut is. I can not remember off hand the parent company that makes the Transtorque system.

Back to you Bruce......[emoji56]

Will this fix work on the "full wall slide" on a 2019 Bay Star 3401? Will be using the coach 9 months out of the year with many ins and outs of the slides.

Wonder if Newmar will do your FIX at a factory pickup?

Thanks
All gas coach's still use the cog wheel slide system designed by Newmar for FWS's Bay Star, BSS, Canyon Star and the 2013-2015 FWS's DP's between 2013-2015.
The two motors PROGRAM SYSTEM for FWS's you should be able to convert to SLS Bolts.
The new slide thread will have how to remove motors if necessary in thread.
