How many miles did you get on the original set of tires?
I am curious what some of you have experienced, assuming regular use and good care, just to get an idea what to expect.
I know very well to measure tread depth and look at condition, date of manufacture etc. but hoping to learn what has been seen from actual experiences.
Tried searching on old posts but did not find any mention. I drive 35' Ventana w/Goodyears.

Unless you do a lot of traveling, they will age out before they wear out. I had Michelins on my 2015 unit. I replaced them due to sidewall cracking mid 2018.

You will really have to work at it to wear out a set of tires on a motorhome. As has been said, they will "age out" first. Tire manufacturers recommend dismounting and completely inspecting tires annually after six years from the date code on the tire. For all practical purposes, that means replacing the tires very six years.
The same (or very similar) tires on an OTR truck will go 100K miles...and, in about three years.

Just replaced mine through the fmca discount program. Tires were ten years old and 40,000 miles. Still very good tread. As stated, they aged out

The Canyon Star had about 55K on it when we sold it and the tires had aged out. Still plenty of tread on them of course but he said he's buy new ones immediately. He had connections with a tire distributor and I was glad to let him deal with getting them...

Not sure how reliable the reports are but truckers report getting 200,000-400,000 miles on the drive axle and less on the steering.

We changed our tires after 55K miles, but that was for age, 7 years. The Tire shop said the old tires were still in good shape but we wanted to be safe. We moved to Toyo tires, been happy with them for the four years and 35K more miles.
