Just traded my 2000 Mountain Aire with 138,000 (and still in great shape) for a 2011 Mountain Aire with 13,000 miles.

It's a 1987 Gas 454 with 47K on it (45K when we bought it 6 moths ago) and hope to have many years with it-say 20?

66 years old and well over half a million miles...
Now for the motorhome it's 13 and traveled only 88,000 miles.

1999 Tropi-Cal with 65,659 miles. I'm happy with it so it would take a much better deal to trade!

2012 Bay Star 2901, 2.5 months old and driven only 550 miles since delivery. I plan to keep it until Newmar makes a 30' or less front engine Class A with a full power ISB-XT (360 HP & 800 ft.lbs), Allison 3000, and 4x4 drive RV optimized for boondocking.

30' 2008 Monaco Monarch. Had 2800 miles when we bought it last year, dealer claimed it was acquired from a dealer that went out of business.
Everything was still in plastic and smelled like it was just off the assembly line.
And it now has about 8000 on it.
We love it.

This isn't my last one
At least I hope it isn't my last RV I still have a lot of places to visit yet and I get that got-2-moveon-feeling now and then and off I go.
Mine is 97 Allegro 28' no slides twin beds that I'm not happy about but it will do and 61000 miles the only thing that doesn't work is the cabin heater and I use a Wave 4 if needed and quickly move south if the weather gets cold to need more than that.
I have an old dog so I pulled up the carpet and laid down press down tiles to make clean up easier after the dog passes on (she's 14) I may consider new carpet then again it sure is nice to use a broom and a mop. We are getting new tires in a month or so those on the rig are five years old so it is time. The 454 just keeps humming along
Oh, I fulltime in this thing and now and then wish I had a slide for more comfort an room when I have visitors.

New to us this year - 1999 Tradewinds 7371, going to new home soon, it's predecessor, 1991 Pace Arrow 32J and if eligible, temporarily retired 25' 1947 Spartan trailer house.

Chris and I are getting ready to take our first (maiden) voyage in our 1994 Fleetwood Flair. We are in the process of redecorating her and taking out the blue carpet. She has about 34k miles one her.

Taking the keys

So if I keep my 2008 Damon Outlaw Class A the same 17 years, that would take me to 2025 and figuring my current mileage, hope to make 230,000 miles! Is that possible with a gas motorhome with no major repairs? I'll be 70 years old then. My kids will probably take away my keys...

My kids would love to have that power but first they have to find me and I'll give 'em the slip every time because they have the imagination and tenacity of a box of rocks. Sometimes they act older than me
