My 2000 Kountry Star has a curved top to the dash, there is a flat space to the left but I found I need more surface to mount the TomTom, Tire pressure sensor and Roadmaster monitor. I was looking in my garage for some scrap wood to make a shelf out of when I found the old valance cover for the houses former vertical blinds. Cut a section to fit, added velcro to the back and now it works great.

Good idea oddcouple, are you going to attach permanently or is that why the clamp is on the right side?

It is attached by velcro on the back side, look at the second photo, click it to enlarge. The clamp is to hold the tomtom, I have one of those suction cup mounts that is illegal in California to use on the window, and it will not stick to the dash unless you have the special disk they sell you,
