OK, I'll take my hits for not figuring this out either sooner, or on my own. In my defense, I've looked through the book and can't find the answer, and I've crawled around and can't figure it out. Guess I could call my dealer, but I thought it might be easier just to post here. And, it will give some of you guys a good laugh!

On my 2007 DSDP Model 4307 - where are the releases to open the generator compartment in the front of the MH?

Obviously, I've never had cause to have to figure this out. Just want to know.

TIA

On my older 2004 DSDP, first you pop the front hood. Then look inside toward the front there are 2 clamps that you have to release. then you pull a handle on the left side. It is a few feet aft and about shoulder height.
Then I manually pull the generator slide forward.

Hi Bob,
Worst case might be your coach is like my 05 KSDP. There is no slide out for the generator!

My '06 DSDP 4320 has a pull handle in the front drivers side lower compartment - the one with most of (but not all!) of the fuses!

Look in the upper rear corner...........

Slider 1 - found the handle in electrical compartment, pulled it and nothing happened. Still could not open the compartment. Must be something I'm missing. I'll keep trying. Thanks again.

Bob.. This is the handle that opens the Gen Drawer in front. You have a 43 foot DS, and that is where the release is. When I first opened mine it also was kinda stuck. Pull as hard as you can while someone else pushes in and out on the front as you are pulling the handle. It will release. VACMAN

You do have to pull quite hard.

At times if the front end of the coach is sorta down-hill it really hard to pull the handle. Because the weight of the Gen and the drawer are pinching the release pins real hard. You won't break the handle just pull hard...Vacman
