HI everybody, I have a 04 kountry star d/p with two a/c's that are getting
noise. I have never tighten them down therefore my question is HOW do you tighten them them down? I have ducked air so where are the lagbolt's and if youremove the ac do the lagbolt's stay in the roof ? Thanks Alby.

Alby, check this link out and scroll down you will see the AC on roof.
You remove 4 screws to get cover off and you will see the 4 bolts with sealant over them tighten down but just snug them up so no noise.
You can see two bolts in picture under grill.

Alby, 007's got it right, Newmars do not have an inside ceiling grille/air intake as Mutha's coach does, you have to remove the covers on the roof to tighten them.

Your A/C units may not be the Penguins like Oemy's so the screws to remove the covers may be in different places, but once you get them off you should find the bolts.

Hi Alby,
There may be another source for the noise. With the cover off, make sure the A/C is running. Look at the fan motor. It could be vibrating enough to cause a noticeable noise. My rear A/C unit became very noisy. The motor vibration was the problem. There is no adjustment. What I did was stuff foam rubber between the motor and the base of the unit. That lessened the vibration to a point where there is no more noise.
