What is the correct procedure for winterizing the dish washer and cloths washer? Turning them on when pulling rv antifreeze through the lines will fill the inlet lines but what about the pump that empties the water from the drum? How do you cycle to get antifreeze in the pump without using a lot of antifreeze?

Add a gallon or so to the washer tub after you've already got the line filled then advance the control knob to the spin cycle so that it will siphon the antifreeze out of the wash tub, let it run for a few moments then shut it off. Your pump should now be winterized.

Dish washer may be a bit more tricky, as there's no direct way to select the stage that its to go in. You could try pouring antifreeze into the drain port on the dish washer and the back feeding some down the drain line, but that won't do anything for the sprayer pump, unless you happen to have an older adjustable knob style dishwasher (fairly rare these days).

A word of caution that applies only to the Splendide - all in one. The manual's winterization directions are good but when you do the "hot" line - first shut off the inlet valve for cold water and then flush the "hot" line. Sometimes when you ask the machine for hot water it sends cold water first for a while which leads you to think that when you see the RV fluid coming into the drum you have the hot line winterized - which is NOT the case. Splendide service folks confirm this information.

I just came in the house from doing mine. I blew the water lines with 40 pounds of air pressure and ran both appliances seperatey with the air on. I then poured antifreeze into the drums and P traps. I really don't know if this is properly winterizing them, but that's what I've done in the past.

I just finished mine also. Just came in... What you did should work just fine as long as you didnt forget something.
I did just what you did, except for the washer/dryer, and that I used 60 psi to make sure there was enough pressure to blow out the air. I didnt want to fill the whole system with antifreeze so I had to figure out a way to winterize the Splendide washer/dryer. I set the control on start, where it would begin to fill with water, then turned the Splendide on. I left the air pressure on and set the water temp to the center position so the pump would pull from both hot and cold and then turned on the hot water valve, closed it and turned on the cold water valve. I repeated this several times to make sure I heard air blowing without any air-water mixture. Once that was done I finished with the 1/2 quart in the drum and let it spin for a couple of minutes.
For my stand-alone U-lead ice maker, I cycled the motor so the pump would open and air would blow through the pump and inlet line. U-line has a way of cycling the motor/timer to open the valve. It involves removing the ice tray cover and tuning the gear-nut counter-clockwise with a wrench.
After blowing all the lines, and opening all the valves, I poured about a cup of antifreeze in each drain, for the p-trap, and a couple of quarts in the black tank. I did all this with one gallon of RV antifreeze.
Just in case someone unfamiliar with winterizing is reading this, I should mention that I also drained the hot water heater by removing the drain plug.

Thanks for the reference. Anyone needing this type of informantion will appreciate the links.
The problem (if I'm not mistaken) with the RV Tech Library method, procedure A, is that it doesnt explain how to blow out the water lines from the washer valves to the washer pump. The subject instructions were the ones that I used (as well as the ones in the machine's manual) to plan my winterization, but had to improvise for the washer pump.
Maybe RVCrusier needs to add an addendum to RV Tech Library, Procedure A.

We'll see in the spring if mine worked...

If you used one of these blow out plugs to blow out as much water as possible than use a funnel to pour Anti down hose should fill pump cavity's with enough Anti-freeze to protect the pump.

That is the fitting I use to blow out air. However, if your talking about the washer "pump cavity", I have no way of getting to the washer hoses without removing the washer, that's why I had to do what I outlined.
From what I have seen in other motorhomes with a washer/dryer installed, it would be hard to get to those hoses also. There always appears to have shelves over the W/D.
