HWH Autolevel not working today
After a bone jarring trip thru Mass. to get to Maine, we stopped for the day and I went to put down the jacks. The autolevel function didn't work. Pushed the button, but the light never came on and the pumps/jacks didn't move. After trying it a few times and cycling off the ignition with the same results, I tried to do a manual level and all the jacks worked fine, so we are OK for now.
Has anyone had a similar issue or any suggestions for troubleshooting ?
Any idea where teh control box is located ? Maybe a loose connection ?
Thanks

I had the same problem recently. I called HWH and the service specialist said that since all other functions work correctly, probably the little switch behind the "auto level" button is shot. He said I had two alternatives, purchase a new panel for $200 or send my panel in and have it repaired for some amount less than $140.
If you do contact HWH, I suggest you do it on-line. I called in and was told a representative would call me back in about a week!!!!!! I filled out the request form on-line, and had an excellent, thorough, and complete answer within a few hours.
Since I didn't want to be without the jacks (since like you we can operate them manually) I decided to buy a new one and keep the old one. THis way, if I have another failure on the panel in the future, I can have it repaired and use my old one to be functional while they are repairing the panel.
Hope this helps.

I had the exact same issue a couple of months ago while traveling. After speaking with HWH they provided the same recommendations - buy a new panel or send the one I had in for repair. I chose my third option - which was to pull the panel and take it apart and gain access to that button. I cleaned the button contacts very good and reinstalled. The unit has worked perfectly since then. Not saying the same will work in your case, but it worked for me.

Thanks for the info.... I'll wait till our next stop, which will be for a month, to contact them and see what they say. I do have an extended service plan, so I'll only have to pay $100 deductible if I have to get a replacement. I'll take it apart first and see if I can clean it up to get it working. .

I had the same SWITCH problem a few months ago and HWH also told me the price would be less than $140. The final cost was $32 plus my shipping cost to HWH.

Here is something I learned when I had my Monaco. When parked, especially while at home, I put a towel over the switches on the arm rest. Since they sit horizontally, they gather dirt and dust. I started doing this after one of my jack switches quit because of dirt.

Just an update on my "story". I contacted the HWH parts depth last Friday when I ordered my new faceplate. On Wednesday I received my new faceplate. Installed it and it works fine. Although others have offered much lower cost "fixes", I do now have a working faceplate along with a backup should I ever need to have a repair in the future. Bottom line is that I am a happy camper. I thought HWH was very responsive to my problem.
